Market Highlights--Part 1, the entrance

April 2010 High Point Furniture Market just wrapped up. Whew! What a great week! It is always exciting to welcome old friends and customers as well as first time customers and buyers into our showroom and be able to show what Century Furniture offers.

This market our creative team pulled together some of our most inspiring rooms yet. Here are just a few highlights from our entrance:

Oscar de la Renta's new Tiered Chairside Tables in a new Turquoise finish were used as bedside tables. Love the Chinese red lion accent against the Turquoise finish!

Finally, new Fern green finish on our New Traditional starburst mirror hanging above the Oscar de la Renta X bookshelf.

High Point Furniture Market (October 2009) -- At the October High Point Furniture Show, Oscar de la Renta in collaboration with Century Furniture has added extensively to his luxurious line of home furniture. With an eye towards classic and timeless forms, Mr. de la Renta has infused the new introductions with a youthful edge that is at home in traditional or transitional settings.

“Love me” seemed to be what Oscar de la Renta’s new tufted sofa whispered when you saw it in Century Furniture’s High Point showroom. Newly introduced at the Perennial October Furniture Show, the elegantly shaped and scaled piece was resplendent in deep red velvet.

The sensuous curves of the collections new wing chair have been playfully sculpted in rich red leather. Delicate yet bold, it is yet another example of Mr. de la Renta’s unique fashion touch.
