Like me I am sure you were all saddened to learn today that the High Point Market has officially canceled spring market. Next week, all of our calendars will feel a bit off. Instead of weaving in and out of a sea of people to gaze at all that is new and fabulous, we will settle into our home offices for Instagram trend updates and Zoom calls and dream of the next time we all meet in High Point. Even though our feet will thank us, there is no substitute for the breath of life that High Point Market provides to our collective passions. We will try as will all of our manufacturing friends to create virtual launches that inspire and engage, but let's face it, nothing beats seeing and touching new fabrics and pieces. Walking into a freshly painted room and taking in the layered settings of upholstery and cases does wonders for the creative soul.
