The Most Unusual Thing in Your Office: A NC State Wolfpack hung by police tape. It was done by one of my "coworker friends" here in the office who is not a Wolfpack's fan.
Never Leave Home Without: My Grandfather's Hamilton watch. It was given to him for his 25th work anniversary (he was an engineer at a furniture manufacturer) and it is a year older than I am.

Why You Love Century: The fact that we are a furniture company that is owned and operated by furniture people that make furniture decisions- an amazingly rare thing today. I am grateful to be apart of the family!

Book You Would Like to Read: A new, unpublished Pat Conroy novel.
Favorite Pizza Topping: I'm a carnivore....meats, please...all of them!
Why You Love Century: Century is a unique place with such a broad and deep offering of furniture and styling. However, there are common threads that bind the company together as a whole. One main thread is to always do the right thing for the customer...we simply refer to it as doing things "The Century Way". I love that promise and responsibility. The people of Century are the difference. I've never seen a more knowledgeable and passionate team in the furniture industry.

Comer Shuford Wear, VP Marketing
The Most Unusual Thing in Your Office: Hourglass. It was given to me by a friend and always reminds me how quickly time passes.

Why You Love Century: I love Century because it is an over all great company to work for. People that work for Century have worked for them for years and end up retiring from, people just do not leave. It is a wonderful family that owns it and has for 70 years. The Shufords think of their employees as family and for that itself speaks volumes to me. Century produces some of the best made and made locally furniture out there. Well-known name and beautiful product!
